Writing and journaling at Fort Wilderness, one of my favorite places to slow down and reflect.

I am using this site as a personal notebook: part studio shelf, part journal, part record of practice. The through-line is attention. Pens, printmaking, flute study, wellness, spiritual study, Disney travel, and coffee all become different ways to notice what is happening and keep showing up.

Creative practice

Fountain pens and ink are recurring companions here. I like the tactile side of writing: nib feedback, ink color, and the way a good setup can make ordinary notes feel worth keeping.

The studio side includes linocut and printmaking, Traveler’s Notebook experiments, Cricut projects, flute study, and the small messes that come with learning by hand. Some of that practice connects with local communities and teachers, including the Middle Tennessee Fountain Pen Club, Dow Street Music, and Tiffany Thomas Music.

Wellness and balance

This site may include reflections on fitness, nutrition, balance, and wellness progress. I am less interested in dramatic reinvention than in sustainable habits, better recovery, and the kind of routine that survives real life.

Spiritual study

Meditation, Kabbalah, Reiki, acupuncture, breathwork, and spiritual study may appear here as notes from practice. These entries are personal reflections, not instruction or claims of expertise. Current threads of study and support include Abbey Daw, The Kabbalah Centre, The 7 Crows, and Dr. Joe Dispenza.

Disney, travel, and coffee

Disney and Disney Vacation Club travel notes will show up when a trip, memory, or planning detail feels useful to capture. Coffee is a secondary but faithful thread: beans, brews, gear, and the ongoing pursuit of a better cup, often inspired by places like Just Love Coffee in Murfreesboro and Crema Coffee Roasters in Brentwood.

What to expect

Expect a mix of journal entries, project notes, currently inked lists, collection highlights, wellness reflections, and small observations from the desk. The point is not perfection. The point is practice.
